BEGIN THE SEASON WITH OUR SPECIAL LOW REGISTRATION FEES at the MIAMI SUNFEST

Miami Gardens has plenty to offer for those in search of sports and an active lifestyle. John U. Lloyd Beach State Park is located just north of Hollywood right on the ocean. Spend the day up close with natural wildlife while boating on Whiskey Creek or walking through the nature trails. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving in the Atlantic Ocean. Oleta River State Park is located in North Miami along Biscayne Bay. Swim in the lagoon, take a stroll through the butterfly garden or go for a peaceful bike ride. Golf enthusiasts can tee off at one of half a dozen golf courses located within a few miles of Miami Gardens.

Florida Memorial University is located north of the Opa-Locka Airport and south of the Palmetto Expressway.

From the North, take I-95 South to SR 826 West (Palmetto Expressway). Exit at NW 37 th Avenue. Stay on access road to NW 42 nd Avenue (LeJeune Road). Turn left; proceed one-half mile to campus entrance on right.

Turnpike from the North, exit at Golden Glades, onto SR 826 West and proceed as above.

I-95 from the North, take SR 826 West and proceed as above.

From the South, take SR 826 (Palmetto Expressway) north to NW 47th Avenue exit. Stay on access to NW 42nd Avenue, turn right, and then proceed one-half mile to campus entrance on right.
